A few days ago I bragged about my daughter's grades
« on: March 24, 2010, 10:22:27 PM »
Now I'm going to brag about my son (and my other daughter). My son won a design competition. He won $3,000 and a trip to Boston. If anyone is interested in what competion it is PM me, I'm not going to post it here because of all the "guests" who lurk here.

My youngest daughter got all A's on her report card. We had her parent teacher conference and her teacher said she wanted to refer her to their program for gifted kids but that because of funding she may not get in. They only have so many "slots", they are full so we have to see if there will be a place open for her next year.  Her school is the only school in the immediate area that has the gifted program so kids from other schools transfer to her school to attend the program. I have a feeling there won't be a place for her next year. :(  It makes me mad because she was in the gifted program since first grade in Texas and she would have still been in it if we lived there. Stupid damn California.

In my post above I said "guests that post here" I meant to say "guests who lurk here".

Thanks LV for the nice comment. :)

Congrats on your good job mom :hi5:
