Hump Day Again....
« on: March 24, 2010, 10:41:05 AM »
And it's snowing.  Spring, my ass.

Still on swing shift, the usual try to stay sane with busy work.  Nights (12's) again next week, then back to normal for a little while.

Home life is nice and dull, just as I like it.  No drama to speak of, for a change.

Looks like March will be ushered out here with below normal temps again. Third straight month for that.

Finally have a day off this week.

Supposed to be some pretty good storms tonight. No class today. Car is in the shop and I'm dreading the cost. At $600 and counting. Power steering pump and rear brake pads. I really need to learn how to fix my own damn car. And I need tools. Damn money.

Monday was in the high 60s.  Tuesday evening we started snowing, and this morning we woke up to schools cancelled and 6"-8" on the ground.

It's 63 out and absolutely bee-u-ti-ful!! My daffodils are blooming and the first flowering trees are starting to bloom.

That usually means there's snow in the not too distant future.  :uhsure: Rain is due in tonight.

Went to Mass at noon today. Said my prayers before Mass started. Happened to mention to God that I know He knows that I have control issues and that I know I need to turn over control to Him and trust Him to get me through some serious situations currently affecting my life. And I was really kind of hoping for some sign that He knew I was trying to cede control....and that I do trust in Him to get me through them...

The Gospel and homily were about trusting God to get one through their trials.

Guess that was my sign.....He is listening...Thank YOU, God....

M called to say a client gave him fresh eggs today during their tax prep appointment so it's breakfast for dinner tonight.  What a HUGE treat -- fresh eggs!

62 and sunny right now -- hate being inside this bldg on days like today. :bawl:

Woke up with a fever this morning and covered in sweat.  It was not pleasant.

Been moping around the house all day... I haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday.  I feel a little better.

There's a bug of some kind going around here.....wicked headache, low fever, severe vomiting. I just got over it....headache on Saturday - like the top of your head is coming off! Woke up at 5am on Sunday feeling weird...and about 30 minutes later started the  :puke: off and on for the next 5 hours. At this point death was looking pretty good.  :(  Slept off and on all day, then about 2:30 or 3 on Monday morning, I woke up covered in sweat bad enough that I had to change my tshirt and boxers. Monday still had a wicked headache and a slight one yesterday. Today I woke up feeling pretty normal.

I've never had food poisoning but I thought that was what it was, except the symptoms weren't right. Over the last couple of days, I've heard of several people having it.

It really sucks.....I hope that you should feel better soon....

Back has been acting up since Saturday.  Thought it was getting better, and flared up again this evening.

Can barely walk, stand, or sit.  Feels like someone is taking a baseball bat to my low back.  Salonpas and Tylenol aren't helping.

I do NOT want to face the weekend or next week like this.
