What we want from our politicians.

This goes to show that our democracy is broken and there is a complete disconnect between the public and our so called public servants.

If the democratic party with its overwhelming numbers can't execute this one obviously democratic issue for us it is one more nail in the myth of the United States as a democracy and a sad piece of evidence that this is a fascist state in the truest meaning of the word.

They really believe this too.  :lmao:

Nothing, but nothing, will ever convince the primitives that their "world-view" is all wrong, no relation at all with reality.

Even if the public option were put up for a popular vote on the matter, and the "no"s got 75% of the vote, the primitives would allege such a referendum was "rigged" by George Bush, Diebold, and the health insurance companies.

There is nothing that will convince the primitives the American public does not want this nonsense, and by a large margin.

Some of them believe they are in the majority, but some them know they are not.

The ones that know they are not in the majority believe that it doesn't matter because they know what is best for everyone.  They believe the majority is voting against their own interests.  They believe that if you disagree with them, you are too stupid to know what's good for you, so they must use whatever means necessary to silence you and disenfranchise you.. for your own good you know.  You will thank them later.  These are the dangerous ones, like Obama, Pelosi, etc.

Its not american society they look to ,It's everyone else in the world. Its Russia and Europe they admire and care about,Notthe USA. You can see it intheir post and they more often then not don't even ty to hide their hate of what has made this country what it is. They should move to those countries and see just what wonderfull places they are. It will never happen but it would be better then to have to fight a war over it.
