But these were the rules you followed in New York Politics. Everything is a machine, whether the Manhattan Machine (Bloomberg) or the Harlem Machine (Conyers.) This is the way things are, and will be for the forseeable future.

I think that's one of the reasons Spitzer was taken down, he was not part of any machines.

In this day and age its a down right miracle. I am surprised the race cards were not flying about the court house.

Playing the race card in the Motor City would have been a joke because the court house was probably packed with blacks.
