DUmmies Discuss Lord Rove's Humor
« on: March 11, 2010, 10:47:33 PM »
Democrats hate a lot of things. In fact, for DUmp democrats, hatred is the very essence of politics, it's what it's all about. They hate conservatives, they hate Christians, they hate the military, they hate the Jews, they hate Southerners, they hate guns, they hate American tradition, they hate American history, they hate Reagan's legacy, they really, really hate Dick Cheney, and, of course, they hate Dubya. But nothing pegs the democrat hate-o-meter quite like our winning edge, the brilliant tactician Karl Rove. In this thread, the DUmmies react to a CNN interview where Lord Rove rubs their noses in the 2000 defeat of Algore by Rove, Dubya, and Elian Gonzalez:

Rove calls Al Gore "one angry dude," says 2000 Florida ballots are "in my garage"
Karl Rove has very few regrets. At an intense Q&A yesterday, the senior adviser to President George W. Bush defended the Administration on everything from the Iraq war, to campaign tactics, to its response to Hurricane Katrina. On the invasion of Iraq, Rove said that one of the few things he would have changed is coming out against the critics -- including Democrats who had voted for the invasion -- sooner when it was determined that there were no weapons of mass destruction.

"You've got to either hold everybody accountable, or you've got to drop this myth," said Rove, who recently admitted to the error. "This pernicious, corrosive, hypocritical lie that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction."

The event, which took place at the 92Y in Manhattan was in honor of the release of Rove's new memoir, Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight, was hosted by CNN's Gloria Borger and covered a broad range of topics.

For every tough question Borger threw at him, Rove had a defense.

When Borger asked him jokingly, "now that the 2000 election is over, where are the Florida ballots?" Rove answered, "In my garage," to uproarious laughs from the audience. He described Al Gore as, "one angry dude."

3. He's just like Cheney
He knows that he got away with it, and he'll spend the rest of his life thumbing his nose at the people who let him go.

He kicked DUmmy ass twice! They just can't move on!

This DUmmy, for one, is just not amused:

Does anyone remember this from a couple of months ago?:
Quote
The White House announced Wednesday, Dec. 1, that Social Secretary Desirée Rogers would not be testifying to Congress Thursday about the two reality-television aspirants who got by the Secret Service at a recent state dinner to shake hands with President Obama. "I think you know that based on separation of powers, staff here don't go to testify in front of Congress," said press secretary Robert Gibbs in his daily briefing. "She will not be testifying in front of Congress tomorrow."

I think it's nice in the afternoon, when the jug-eared muslim is making his daily televised teleprompter speech on MSNBC, with the nodding, smiling halfwits in the peanut gallery behind him, and Karl Rove is on Fox at the same time. What's nice about it is that you know for certain Rove's audience is three or four times as big as the Kenyan's.

Fox could run a test pattern against Zero and it would pull 3-4 times MSNBC's audience, and be more interesting to boot....

Anyone catch where Rove commented on the 24 business hours BS? He said the reporter who "broke the story", had been discredited previously for filing false stories and that the meeting referred to by the reporter stating Rove was told to get his affairs in order, never happened.

"Couldn't have happened", stated Rove, as his lawyer was at the vet that day with his cat, Charlie. What is humorous is, the ace reporter was given this info, yet after calling the  Vet, being told of patient client privilege and a "no comment, was convinced the Vet was covering for Rove and ran the story anyway! Not only that he musta clued in his good 'ol buddie and life long drinkin' pal, our very own, William Rivers Pitt!

He went on to talk about the reporters drug and alcohol problems and his wish to get back into the limelight and recover from his previous disgrace at the Washington Post!

ETA: This has to be Pitt's secret "unimpeachable source! "Take it to the Bank!! Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Unimpeachable source, Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Oh lord, he's killin' me!

You know, I always thought the scorn and ridicule for the Leopudlian reporter was misplaced.

I know, I know, I'm in a distinct minority here.

The Leopudlian journalist already enjoyed a tarnished and ruined reputation, and one can't wreck a wrecked train more than it's been wrecked already.

The blame has to fall squarely upon the shoulders of the one who "authorized" the Fitzmas story to run; the one who got the primitives on Skins's island--and elsewhere--all whipped up into an orgasmic frenzy.

Fitzmas belongs to the Bostonian Drunkard, and no one else.

Oh my God, you must have burst out laughing when you heard that.

After reading the opening salvos to this thread, the vitriol and hatred, the seething and the snarling, I just have to say I  Karl Rove.  Cheney, too.
