When we quit our once a week service about 3 years ago, it was $180 a quarter, for them to come down our driveway and pick up. $60 for curb service.

I think it must have gone up a lot more the first of the year, as I have noticed that several of the neighbors are now putting their bins at the curb. They have driveways as long as ours, but they are on top of the hills, so it's a downhill trip with full bins.....we are one of the few who have drives that go uphill.

M takes ours to the dump....it's free. He said he's noticed that a lot more people are bringing their trash than there were a couple of years ago.....

Thats always good. But when we burned the trash, I got to play firefighter

The City of Tracy is run by Republicans?

The city council voted for the 911 fees by a 4-1 margin, with this guy being the only "No" vote...

Tracy is more towards the outskirts of the Bay Area, but I have no doubt that their city counsel is majority Democrat.
