Short weekend.  No worries, not much to do.  Dishwasher broken, but barely worth time and money it would take to fix it.  I'll hang on to the $139 plus parts Sears service call until I DO need it.  Hell, I hand wash most of the stuff before I put it in the dishwasher in the first place.

Cool and cloudy, high around 35.  NASCAR on at 2.  Chinese BBQ pork and rice tonight.  I'm good with that.

Gonna go buy a new ceiling fan for my bedroom.  5 months of no light are enough.  One should not have to use a flashlight in one's closet.

And, gonna go vote.

Rainy day here.  I think I ate something yesterday that didn't agree with me because my stomach is bothering me today, so I skipped church, which makes me feel guilty  :(  But, on the off chance that is something more serious than just something I ate I want to avoid infecting anybody.  Plus, it doesn't feel good. 

On the plus side, I can walk some now  :yahoo:  I spent a good portion of yesterday cleaning stuff up that haven't been able to get to while on crutches.

My power is out :censored:

The power is out for the whole neighborhood.  I checked all my breakers inside and out; no luck.  My cell phone decided to stop working, so I drove into work to use the phone (and the computer).  The traffic light at the end of the block was out.  Don't these fools know to treat a light outage as a four way stop?  Come ON, you idiots!  Get a clue!

So I'm at work.  Just hangin' out.  I can't get away from this place.

Power's back on.  Cleaned out the car and organized all the spare parts I've accumulated that have been rattling around in the back seat.  Can't find my spare PCV valve, tho.

I came home and found an invitation to some single's meeting stuck in my front door.  How do they know?  I think they're watching me. :tinfoil2:

It was nice here today but will cool off tomorrow with the expected high to be in the 50's.

At least I got a warm weekend out of the deal.  :cheersmate:
