I think that IF Texas does decide to secede, we should close all of the borders coming INTO the state. The outgoing side will be left wide open. More than half of the problem with Texas is all of the damned Yankee liberals that have moved here. A thorough vetting process should be completed for those applying for a visa. Those born in Texas would get priority on moving back into the state. Perhaps we could get half of the Austinites to move to La. or OK. ?? Sorry, BSS and Allosaurus......

Liberal Relocation Program will really be needed once the poorest able people find out they'll get kool-aid packets, ramen noodles and beef jerky (when available) in leiu of welfare. Section 8 is replaced with tents and sleeping bags and non-legals don't get taken by schools and hospitals.

Texas would  be a different place if the entire city of Austin, and everyone who's in Texas as a result of Katrina, were moved into the vacant wilderness of the California desert. Texas would be much improved, and California is already as bad as it can get.

When Texas secedes, I'm not planning on moving to Texas.  I'm planning on staying where I'm at and applying for annexation by Texas.  :II:

Texas would be a hell of alot better then 99% of the liberal held cities or states in this country. The weather and most anything else is damn perfect and the best part is we that want to can live there and the other 56 states can go to hell if it has to be that way. I love my home state but its run by idiot Dems anyway.

Yeah--even though I've lived in New York State most of my life, there were two years in El Paso, at FT Bliss.
