The "Boston Herald" at its, well, usual
« on: February 01, 2010, 07:31:15 AM »
Is there any reason not to trust a paper who publishes this headline:

Scott Brown’s fame reaches the ultimate hight: ‘SNL’ skit

I guess they're still sleeping it off over there.

This from the paper which put out phony election results on the day of the special election, then claimed it was a "mistake"?

Denial--and they're not even doing that very well.

I think you're thinking of the Globe?

The Herald is the one that desperately wants to be the NY Post, conservative (as conservative as it gets in Boston) leanings and all but can't quite seem to get it together with the proofreaders.

They've had some doozies recently - I just loved this one 'cause it's been on the website since last night.

I was really hoping to see a picture of Brown holding a copy of that the day after, sort of a Truman / Dewey thing.

That has been up since very early Sunday a.m.  -- the Herald is the only newspaper in MA that does investigative reporting, and has nailed our Chicago-ain't-got-nothing-on-us corrupt MA legislature on a regular basis.   If you didn't read their stuff on the Big-mafia-Dig you should, as there is some good stuff there.

Herald's sports section used to be better than the Globe's, but both are seriously lacking now.  I'd rather listen to sports radio.

The Herald is the one that desperately wants to be the NY Post,

Murdoch used to own the Herald.
