CDC Bucks
« on: January 30, 2010, 10:49:26 PM »
Got a large envelope in the mail today. It wasn't addressed to us in particular, just our house address. It looked like the random survey we've gotten before, except this one is from the CDC. I wasn't even going to open it, but it was so weighty I thought I'd take a look. It's evidently some survey on health, and looking at the CDC website link below, was sent randomly to this area as in a few others. The odd thing is that it had a five dollar bill attached. I wonder how many of these things were sent out with five dollar bills stuck in them. Too, how many people did not open them and just threw them away? Could they have found a better way to waste taxpayer money? I'm sure they could have, but this was pretty unique.

Oh, the money was is, "To thank you for your time and effort." If I were in a charging mood, it would cost them more than five bucks for my time to fill this out. And just think, you guys get my time for free.  :-)
