Around this time of year, freeper types start grumbling about Black History Month which takes place in February. They complain that it's racist to have a period of time dedicated to honoring black history and educating people about the accomplishments of black Americans. They inevitably start in with the crap about how if there was a White History month that would be called racist. And yes, yes it would be- because it would be racist.

Let me explain for you, freeptypes. It's simple. It won't make a dent in the thick racist skulls of most of you, but here it is:

Every month is white history month. White history has not been suppressed. Black history most certainly has been. The accomplishments of white Americans have not been ignored or scorned. The opposite has been true for black Americans throughout most of our history. There is no need whatsoever to bring notice to white history. It's everywhere. There is a need to bring notice to black history; to educate people about it.

Simple, huh?

One good thing is this dummy admitted to the double standard.
I don't get where these goons think that blacks are omitted from history. I recall learning about the contributions of black folks all during "white history".
Personally I'm not bothered in the least about black history month however I do wonder why it hasn't been changed to african american history month.  :-)

15. But they will not

admit to being Freepers or Teabaggers because they don't want to expose their true identity.

I express my true identity you just can't wrap your tiny mind around the fact that I am not racist. Like all human beings I have prejudices but, those tend to be towards the individual not any ethnic group. I judge each person by who they are and what they are like. I'm sick of the dummies crying racism just because I do not worship at the altar of Obama.

6. when I worked for Pepsi in the corporate headquarters

the company annually celebrated Black History month.

It made me proud as a white American that a conservative corporation of that size took diversity very seriously.

Now wait a minute I thought all corporations were evil and should be silenced at all costs. So why should Pepsi allowed to be political and promote BHM? Your collective panties are all bunched up over the fact that the SC said corporations can try to influence the political scene.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive has a rather mixed record, when it comes to black-white relations.

On one hand, the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive, apparently originally from Connecticut, years and years and years and years ago shacked up with a black guy.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive now lives in Vermont, one of the most lily-white of all the states in the union.

About four years ago, when the primitives were discussing natural catastrophes in Lost Angeles, and their effects upon the poor (i.e., the minorities not Hispanic or Asian in origin), one well-meaning but stupid primitive suggested they be "relocated" to somewhere less vulnerable.

To which the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive snapped, "We don't want those people up here."

A shining beacon of tolerance and diversity, the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive.

Pepsi is conservative?

I thought they were the biggest gay marriage proponents in America?

Another issue the goons don't mind one bit if a corporation tries to influence in their favor.

It's not that they don't want corporations to have any influence they just want them to only influence in a way that suits them. If they thought for one second that the recent SC ruling would benefit the Dems it would be the greatest decision ever.

20/25 years ago a local bank put out a nice booklet (on nice, slick, expensive paper) about successful blacks in South Carolina. Most, if not all of those successfull before the Civil War, had been slave holders. ...and with historical research not included in the booklet, one discovers that they were the worst as to the treatment of they slaves.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

We can learn all about the Radical Republicans after the Civil War, you know the dozen or so black members of Congress we never hear about, how they battled the Democrats and tried to stop the Jim Crow and Segregational Democrats before they did their nasty work. Even though they failed in their pre-emptive war against the Democrat hero Nathan Bedford Forrest they are still real heroes worth remembering.

Then we can remember the great writer George S Schuyler, a black conservative writer who saw the left for what it really was.

Yeppers, there are a whole lot of things to talk about during Black History Month.

The left views them and other groups as mere cattle. They're to be used for various things, voting especially. The previous governor of Louisiana wanted the people displaced from Katrina to Houston to all be moved to a tent city in Louisiana before the elections. No matter that winter was coming on, or that the people were individuals who might have different ideas about their predicament. She only saw them as a group that had one place in life, to vote for her and her fellow democrats.

Cali displays another instance of how liberals simply cannot think logically, or even rationally.  Let's accept his premise, that all 12 months are "white history" months by default because of racism - ok, extremely far-fetched, but this is merely assuming arguendo - and then work out the actual implications of "stealing" one of those months and, by governmental, socialist fiat, declaring it "black history month."  What, exactly does that do?  Basically, it does nothing but balkanize history on the basis of an utterly irrelevant characteristic, because, now, every white racist is simply going to say, "keep your black history where it belongs, in February, and leave the other 11 months to us white racists.  We're going to officially rename those 11 months 'white history months.'"

Congratulations, Cali, you've just effectively created 11 "white history months" that will forever more be strictly "white history months" and you've made it impossible for the reasonable amongst us to get rid of racial divisions by focusing on history according to the content of the souls of those who made history, not on their exterior colours.

Cali - why do you white racists always have to ruin everything for the rest of us?

I once played in a band with a guy who was a barking moonbat union construction worker who would launch into these crazy screaming tirades about the Bush family new world order, etc. etc. Usually when I am in a band, I don't care about the politics of the other members. Just play your parts, stay sober, show up on time, and keep it out of the microphones. However, I eventually ended up getting into political "discussions" with him which I quickly regretted because he would not listen to a thing I had to say and it became clear that it would be unproductive. Everything involving a democrat was sweetness and light and the republicans were pure evil, yada. yada. yada.

Anyway, despite being a helluva guitar player, this guy was the most racist person I have ever met. Constantly would drop the "N" word at every opportunity. One day when we arrived at rehearsal, ( The band practiced at his house) he was on the phone with a bill collector who was apparently black and I remember him screaming, "Why don't you go back to Africa and live in the trees you monkey!" Wow... How about paying your bills. He said many other things before hanging up but thats all I remember. Actually, he was pretty proud of himself afterward and was seeking reinforcement and was somewhat upset when he didn't get it. The instability of the guy became clear and that was pretty much the end of that band.

I have since heard that he called the female bar owner a C**t over the mic and he and his band were forcebly removed from the establishment by the police. All because she asked the soundman to turn down the volume.
