I got my very first PC over 20 years ago. After being shown how to turn it on and off, having my son hook me up to AOL I was on my way to crashing the site 6 times a day.
After a month or so I began to follow links just to see what was. I found Diaper Pail friends. This site was in the hands of people that were just learning how to develop sites, security, and protection for its customers.
It was a SAD, sad site, one did not have to register to get in, the site gave out the names addresses and phone numbers to the public. The emails they received and general talk from the members was available to ANYONE.
Some of my friends and I would drive by the home of one of the sites posters and hope to get a glance at the man who got off on kinky stuff.
Shamefull, we woman who outside of movies or books had never heard of this role playing game, At the same time we were praying we would not turn up a family member or family friend.
Up until that time I had no idea of the number of people in my area that thrived on this stuff. A Dominick's{ I think that is the spelling} came on every day to drum up business.
Naturally I thought this a HOOT at first, but then I began to wonder if this was just an unusual past time.
Time marched on and I had forgotten about that site for years. Then a few years ago my neighbor was found in plastic garbages bags spread over the county.
A woman and boyfriend were finally arrested in Mass. Seems my neighbor had been a customer of the Dominick's trade for some time. He had had a heart Attack amid the spanking and what ever they do. She and boyfriend had to dispose of the body and did so in a most undignified way.
As we hold our sides laughing uproariously over the pictures and the weirdness in life, it helps to keep in perspective that for some people they have only a big white stuffed bunny to love.
