Don't take this wrong, but Hitler was a dynamic leader. While he was on the side of evil, he was able to pull together a country that was falling apart. Just imagine if the US had a leader as strong as Hitler, but on the side of righteousness???
Thor, Woodrow Wilson was, during his administration, everything Hitler wanted to be when he came to power. He had about 250,000 american citizens jailed without charges, trials or counsel for daring to question his authority. He had an army of thugs breaking up protests, town hall meetings and other points of what the Founders would have considered "free assembly". He had a bureaucracy who's sole purpose was to strong-arm and browbeat the news papers and entertainment industries into publishing only material supportive of administration policies. Hell, the institution of racial segregation in the military didn't become War Department policy until the racist bastard Wilson ordered it, so he can't even claim that Hitler was a racist and he wasn't.
Point is, we've already had that kind of strong, dynamic leader here in America, and the history books still largely gloss over the attrocities he committed during his tenure. We sure as shit don't need another one.
