Yeah yeah that is exactly how it happened.  :-)

I'm still sitting in the waiting room. I bet they are doing it on purpose (my appointment was at 11:00 it is now 11:50). I bet there is the secret mark in my file that shows who I voted for.

They are just practicing what  0Bamacare will be like.

Well, I have to thank Mr Snuggle Bunny for posting his afflictions and causing me to do some research. It turns out that my Dr. has never done an Amylase & Lipase test. He is doing one of those. He also is performing a C-peptide test. I am scheduled for an ultrasound bright and early Sat A.M. After that is a waiting game for the results. So, the day hasn't been terrible. Met up with one of my old high school friends from Garland. He has been living up here in Texomaland for a while, now.

So the test wasn't so bad.  I really liked the doctor.

Well.  The drive home was an adventure in traction control.  Or lack thereof.  Actually, it wasn't too bad until I got into my neighborhood.

The snow is gone and has been replaced (as expected) by a thin sheet of invisible ice.  I was in the grocery store parking lot and my car slowly started turning in a circle without making any forward progress.  I pushed in the clutch and tried again a little slower.  I would have stayed out there and spun little effortless donuts for fun, but I wanted to make it home in one piece.

I can see this is going to be a fun two months. :lmao:

People forget sometimes about the light poles, when they do donuts in parking lots.  Not me, I love my cars.  But people.

True that.  And that means less harm to your auto!
