There is a very real possibility of a devastating war in the mid east.
A number of nations are getting ready to make war with Israel. they've been preparing for years. Syria has amassed a serious arsenal of chemical and bio warheads, and considers her self nuke proof. Lebanon is now controlled by the terror group Hezbolah (itself controlled by Iran). We know about Iran's intentions. When Sadaam was in power, a railroad was built to ferry Iraqi and Iranian troops to Syria for a physical invasion, but the American presence in Iraq prevents that now.
--Hamas, another puppet of Iran, is also poised to act. If Iran needs a distraction, Hamas will simply launch missiles. In an all out war 40,000 light infantry will jump the security fence and invade Israel forcing the IDF to contain them, and weakening the borders for a Syrian invasion.
The question is, will Egypt, and Jordan join in a regional war.
The entire region is poised to explode. Arab ministers have been meeting in secret for years for agricultural discussions and other such "top secret" reasons.
There can be only one conclusion to a regional war where Israel is vastly outnumbered.
Isaiah 17. Israel goes nuclear. Damascus ceases to be a city and is never inhabited again. The palestinians are destroyed or driven out. Syria and Lebanon are destroyed as nations.
If this regional war breaks out in 2010, the price of gas will sky rocket and fragile economies may be pushed over the edge.
On the upside we will see two things.
1) a victorious Israel. Millions of muslims dead.
2) we get to see Europe and Obama wet their pants.
On the downside, Israel gets new enemies, as the rest of the arab world writhes in the agony of defeat.
At this point the liberals in America may turn their backs on Israel once and for all. Woe to America if we turn our backs on Israel.
