Clear and cold today.  A Blue Moon will highlight the festivities tonight.

We will be staying in with the doors locked. People like to get drunk, go crazy and shoot off their guns in my neck of the woods.  Kids in bed early and drinking some adult beverges and watching the ball drop.

We're going to a house party...and will be watching the football game, too.

Kids are going downtown to party in the cold and wet....the weather guys are already giving out warnings on how cold it's going to be...low 20's...I recognize that's nothing to most of you..but here it's cold.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

I was invited to a party but I'm not really in the mood to go. It starts at 8 but I guess I could always go later. I've been doing lots of stuff around the house all day. Patching holes, painting, etc.

I'm thinking a night of TV (maybe a Castle marathon) and maybe baking an apple crisp sounds better than a party. Am I crazy?

Wait. Don't answer that.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Not crazy at all.  I think crazy is driving to a party tonight...you just never know (lots of drunks on the road).  Yikes!!  OR we're just getting older (oops, I mean wiser). :-)

Can I have an apple crisp too?

I baked a chocolate bread pudding.  I have chocolate sauce and coffee ice cream.  I'm good.

Good to see you're still with us!  And that sounds like a wonderful treat.

There's a Castle marathon on?

I got the first season on DVD for Christmas.

So I made an appearance at the party but didn't stay long. There were over a hundred folks there so I doubt they will miss me. I wished the hosts a happy new year and slinked out.  :evillaugh:

Now I'm in my jammies waiting for the apple crisp to come out of the oven. I much enjoy this than mingling at a party. It's no secret why I will be single forever. LOL.

We've been sitting and watching Burn Notice, but now it's time for a Doctor Who marathon to start on BBC America.

You'll find someone sometime, maybe even a DBacks fan.
