Texas Weather....
« on: March 06, 2008, 03:06:03 PM »
Last week it got up to the upper 70's to low 80's and today it is snowing buckets and is currently 32.  Sunday the high it is suppose to be 68.  My son was suppose to come home tonight for spring break but his flight was cancelled (after he already got to the airport).  Both my daughter's schools closed early so I had to brave the mess of parents all picking up their kids and no one knowing what to do.  I took a few pictures but now it is coming down even more.

This one is a little crooked.  Our backyard is currently a mess so don't look too close.   :p

It's 40 degrees and cold rain at my house.  It's ugly.  Not worth photographing.

Clever Photoshopping there, BEG.  I'm in a highrise on the 19th floor in downtown Dallas, there's sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.

(Okay okay, there's no sunshine - just rain.  No snow tho!)

Love the photos, BEG.  My ex-son-in-law lives in Allen.  They have about two inches.  I'm too far east and south.  All I'm going to see is rain.

I got my poodle groomed last Friday.  That means he has no hair except for those poofy parts.  I put him outside a while ago,  He wouldn't budge off the patio.  I watched him through the window.  All he did was sit with his back to the door.  I could see him shivering.  Poor old guy.  I let him back in.  He can pee tomorrow, I guess.

They finished their sad snowman.  I told the girls to wear hats but two of them refused.  My oldest daughter wanted me to tell you that she get's credit for building the snowman.

We just barely missed out on the snow in OKC. McAlester, Davis and Ada are getting hammered, though.

So when did you make this deal with Satan?  I've met you in person, you don't look older than 30, and you've got kids that look like they could be your siblings!

By the way, is Dallas considered "east Texas"?

I have a particular reason for asking the question.

I think it would be considered more "north east" Texas.  Tyler is east Texas to me.

(I'm such a redneck - I had to "define: prevaricator" on Google to understand the question.)

Well, they're mostly all prevaricators by nature, but who did you have in mind?

Ms. Ed, the unappellated eohippus, the one who in "east Texas" last autumn loaded up on "ricks" of firewood for the winter, tons and tons of firewood.
