There will NOT be lines. That was the result of the price controls under uber-idiot carter. What will happen is the price will raise until equilibrium is hit (anyone who has even glanced at Economics 101 knows how supply and demand and quantity supplied and quantity demanded works).
And, as was noted upstream, it is because liberal policies have kept refineries from being built and from tapping into the USA's VERY LARGE oil beds in ANWR.

My wife called me this afternoon from her latest perch, which is Houston. She had to fill up her truck because the low fuel light came on. Gasoline was $3.06 per gallon. Her tank cost her $64.00. She was in moonbat rage (not her character).
I laughed.
I asked her, "You always push your trip-o-meter when you fill up, right?"
She said, "Right."
I asked her, "How far did you go on the last tank?"
She said, "Well, I drove to Houston and this is the first time I've needed gas".
I asked again, "How far did you go?"
She said, "It was about 490 mile".
I said, "You'd bitch about someone or something taking you 490 miles for $60.00???"
She said, "There's no talking to you!"
I said, "I'm sorry. I love you."
