If you could be Robin Hood, would you?

That is, if you could rob from the rich and give to the poor would you do it?

Is stealing from the wicked who have stolen from others morally wrong?

11. No. It's wrong.

6. It would be fun to steal from insurance companies....

and give the money to the sick and uninsured. How about stealing from Haliburton and giving the money to the forgotten veterans?

7. Anything done to those who have destroyed those "below" them in the social

structure is fair game. Even heroic.

Allowing them to keep their ill-gotten gains is morally wrong.

9. Maybe.

If I were absolutely sure that a rich man was rich because of "ill-gotten gains" (including off-shore accounts and investments in anti-human companies) I would not hesitate to rob him blind.

If we're talking about someone who earned his wealth through hard work, thrift, and/or personal ingenuity (especially eco-sustainable solutions), I'd never touch him.

13. No, I wouldn't. Stealing is wrong.

I'd tax the hell out of them and redistribute it. Many of the rich would think that was stealing, but it's perfectly legal.

If I could get away with it, I'd be Robin Hood.

DUmb-farks just don't understand that Robin hood stole from the government (evil sheriff) who was over taxing the people and stealing their land, and gave back to the taxpayers.

Yeah, freedom!  :cheersmate:

What, exactly, Alyce, have they stolen from you to give to the rich?

And that my friends is why I am armed.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Beat me to it.  This is one of my pet peeves.  To hear someone say Robin Hood stole from the rich is insane.  Those who repeat this idiocy are usually those who are not happy to learn/hear it was corrupt gov't he was robbing.

I would LOVE for someone to give me back some of my hard earned money .... I get tired of supporting the DUmmies.

Oh, come on!  It would be fun seeing Barbra Streisand and Oprah Winfart living in a government project in Gary, Indiana because some DUmbass confiscated all their wealth.
