I'm surprised to not find this posted already, about a couple who are now the undisputed champions of party crashing. Who else alive can claim they crashed a White House State dinner ? NOBODY. No harm was done, no resources wasted like 'Balloon Boy' -- Just the finest party crash execution known to man - On Obama's watch.

Crashing a state dinner at the White House apparently takes a security breakdown as well as some kind of nerve.

The Secret Service is looking into its own security procedures after determining that a Virginia couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, managed to slip into Tuesday night's state dinner at the White House even though they were not on the guest list, agency spokesman Ed Donovan said.

President Barack Obama was never in any danger because the party crashers went through the same security screening for weapons as the 300-plus people actually invited to the dinner honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Donovan said.

Donovan confirmed the identities of the couple. The Washington Post, which first reported on their evening out, said the Salahis were well-known in the Virginia horse-country set.

Biden's probably used to it. My guess would be that Obama is too self-centered to notice anything that happens further from him than the tip of his nose.

You can bet he's pissed to no end for having the SS make him look look a toal asswipe! IMHO, I'm not so sure the SS didn't do this "accidently on purpose", seein' how much O'Bumbler loves America, the military, us grunts, and his security detail. After all, does he not give us his utmost respect?

It takes brains, a wonderful sense of humor and money to pull this off.

Like a stage production, every eventually had been covered and rehearsed over and over again.

I myself love high Drama and this is about as close as one can get to it. They had to be prepared as to what they would or would not do when speaking with anyone there. Just one tiny mistake could cause people to wonder about them.

Being on the Country Club and Yacht Club lists they must have realised that this was just a really big time and people are people EGOS must be fed. Somehow they had to act at all times as if they expected respect form others-----I have yet to see a picture of them groveling at the feet of those attending.-------Big dig at Obama here.

I would love to have close relatives like these people. They may be crooks but when it comes to having fun, doing outrageous things that takes much work, practice, and a dare devil attitude, what ever happens now, 30 years from now they will remember the time they had the time of their life.

Only question I have is that this State dinner had to be a sit down meal [ so they must have had inside knowledge and help.]

Name tags at the tables, they had to have known that for some reason 2 of the invited would not be able to make it and had someone place their names at the seats of the absent couple.

I wonder what the menu was.

What fun, right out of a James Bond movie.

From what I understand, they slipped out before dinner, knowing that there would be seating issues. They got in, took pictures and got out without anyone knowing what was going on until the photos hit Facebook.

Lady called into Beck this morning and relayed the story of her son (?) who worked this event. She said that typically, the administration provides dinner for the military/ss members who work this type of event. Apparently, this time was different. 20 hour shift with no official breaks, no administration-provided dinner, and little respect. Don't know if it's true, but I frankly would not be surprised as Obama et al have little respect for anyone who serves in the miliatary and/or law enforcement.
