Go figure. It took something to make  Michelle 0Bama proud of this country to disgust millions of other Americans.

Well said.  :II:

According to him, the Seals did not follow the Rules of Engagement
that was on Fox- do not remember the show. So, I assume that it is true or Fox would not have it on.
As for our Seal's-- God Bless them and Bam could kiss my left big toe (tried to keep it clean :))

From everything that's come out since they decided to take this to a Courts Martial...it sounds like the bloody lip could have come from the ANA soldiers they handed this turn over to first rather than from a SEAL.

Only a split lip doesn't seem like their style if you get my meaning.

Yeah; if the Teams were gonna 'rough you up', you'd have to be made of granite to walk away from that encounter with ONLY a split lip.

If what is now being said about the ROE is fact, take actual fire before engaging, break off engagement to protect "civilians" in the fire zone, then the source of these rules has lost sight of the nature of the enemy.  The islamofascists are not civilians or orddinary criminals, they are WAR CRIMINALS.

Under the rules of war, nothing like that is required. In fact, those acting outside the rules of war are fully responsible for any and all consequences. WE DAMNED WELL SHOULD  start reacting and responding to any and all incidents placing the blame where it legally is rather than leaving the propaganda to the islamofascists and the completely mad "anti-war" crowd.

Frankly, were it my decision for the ROE, any masked man under arms would be killed on sight. Anyone at all caring an area weapon (rpg, etc) not in full uniform would be shot on sight. Anyone using civilians as human shields would not be taken alive, surrendered they would face summery execution.

Turncoats, spies and voluntary surrenders would be well treated. They and their famlies transported out of harms way , and a very good wage, for the enviornment, paid to the family, plus sa life insurance payment should the  "breadwinner" get zapped.

If we fail tto treat this as the war that it is, we face consequences that could dwarf 8-11.

Yes, I just don't understand what is going on here.

When does this overflow into the civilian sector.?

Damn this country is getting really spooky.

We are in a war that sends our men/women into the line of fire and their family's have to put up a stink to get their kids the best in personal protection, the best arms and weapons.

We have seen how we treat our border patroll, if a drug dealer who is armed is caught crossing our border firing at our people, if we shoot them in the butt we go to jail for 10 years.

Say Guys I am just an old woman who worked at Oceania Base in VA. and saw with my own lying ideas the training SEALS must have.     I do not know if qualifications for the Seals have been lowered but back then to be a Seal one had to know at the very least 2 languages. They were trained as spies and in filter a place and blend in as a local.

An episode like this one is so far out of believability I have a problem with computing what is going on.

Men are sent out by their Commander to find, capture, a mortal enemy to the USA.  The men are trained to do this procedure using the LEAST force necessary.

They do the mission accomplished, and the Commander now has a problem.  The prisoner has a split lip.  WTF. are they going to blame the Seals for his hemorrhoids.?

Nope this bodes no good, not for our armed forces or our civilian police.

Creeper and really strange times we are going into.

Is all this crap by design, surely the Pentegon is outraged, or are they.?

I see it all now, Town police are confronted by a loony coming at them with a knife.  They shoot him but he survived to sue the police for using unnecessary force, get the police that shot him fired and he walks off with a bank account. Society's thinking, there were 3 officers present, 2 could have tackled him, the 3 rd. had no reason to fire his weapon.    SIGH--------I am sure this scenario has allready come to past.

Just what the Hell kind of society are we headed into.

My Prayers go out to the men that after all that work, training, education, who followed orders and delivered, that must now be so disillusioned with their Comanders that their lives will never be the same.

BTW, what is the name of the Comanders that have pushed this travesty of Justice.?

Just for an intellectual moment, what if George Washington had to deal with a country like ours today.?

Or had the mind set of Obama.

Damn we win wars with strength, blood and guts.  Who ever heard of any country in the history of the world that did not back up its fighters.?

Where and what Army ever punished its troops for doing what they are told to.?

Thank God I am not 16 years old in to days society, I tell you the few years I have left on Earth are going to be hard enough.
