I'm actually a little amazed that I was in the first 42.  I took a rather extended hiatus from internet boards in general for awhile, but I'm very glad that you were here to come back to.  I think we have some really great people here

I am glad that DemonicUnderwear character faded out of existence here. Couldn't stand him!

He was a turd-on-a-stick, wasn't he?  The bastard.

OMG!  How could you not tell us you were married to Brad Paisley Dixie!

 Man if that were true, I'd never be on the dang internet. I'd be keeping Brad "busy".

Missed it by 23 days.  Rats!!

Around the holidays I'm pretty much just automatically absent.  Too much going on.  Besides, I was in the middle of some really busy work in early 2008.  By the time I popped back into CU and saw the Ronbot invasion, it took me some searching around to find out where everyone went.  And even then I really couldn't catch up with everything until around April or so.  But, at least I found you.

Good site and looking forward to poking fun at the primitives in 2010.

From the looks of the lists it looks like all the really cool people waited 4 days to make sure this was going to be the place we wanted to settle.

About the same for me, I tuned out during the Ronbot invasion, and when I came back to CU, and asked where my favorite posters went, one of the mods sent me a PM with a link to here (It might have been Sarasota Repub)......the rest is history.

That caused me a great deal of fear and trepidation, when you weren't showing up.

I knew you were part of some study group or something on mortgages at the time, and away from home.  And I got greatly concerned that you might not find out where we were.

Shove it "noob"! j/k

Boy I jumped ship sooner than I knew I guess. I have not really looked back or been back but there are no hard feelings and I wish them well. Heck I still get invited to CU's fantasy football tournament (through Yahoo) and am happy to join the old gang in that reguard. I like CU, Paulbots notwithstanding, I just prefer the company here at CC.

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Badcat PM'd me and told me about CC.

I visit daily but don't post as much. Rarely go anyplace else. I consider it home.
