I didn't look at Hutch's posting history last night. I just now did.

It looks like he's a lib. I wouldn't call him a troll yet, though. I think it's interesting to hear a person with an opposite point of view and debate with him.

I suspect that the membership is reacting to the fact that we have had an influx of "seagull" posters lately of the liberal persuasion, who, without really taking time to announce themselves in a welcome thread, just jump in, take a dump in a discussion, and fly away, or hang around for a few days starting several threads to stir up crap, and disappear when confronted......nothing personal.......

We have these little invasions from time to time, usually when school is out, or during "teachers meeting weeks", when the adolescents have extra time on their hands.......

Rush was dead on with the Hitler comparison.  However, he would have been more accurate if he had said Obama and democrat party.  The platform of today's democrat party reads like Hitler 1920 NSDAP platform.

BTW, I also think it's of for people on conservative message boards to criticize their own politicians and pundits.

I've been on several boards over the years. I find that quite a few people put great stock in what a radio talk show host says. I'm willing to admit that I may have unfairly thought that of the people here.

NHSparky - Could you please logically explain to me how Palin is more experienced or better versed in Foreign Policy than Obama.  You made a statement and I would really love to hear your reasoning as to why that is the case..........  I'll be waiting

Let see. Obama was a community organizer and a lecturer. Not a lot of real world experience. Also, he ran as President.

So you've claimed you've listened to Rush, Hannity, AND Levin every day for five years now.

Nine hours a day, five days a week?

I call bullshit.

I've done it for years.  WMAL 630am radio here in DC!  Rush and Hannity from noon to six and Levin on my drive home.  I am not glued to the radio but the shows are on and I listen.  You don't think an audience of 20 million(Rush) and an audience of 10 million Hannity and an audience of 7 million don't overlapp???

I didn't say the audiences don't overlap, genius.

Nine hours a day?  And you can spare the time to listen while you work?  Damn, must be a nice, cush job.

And frankly, Hannity bores the shit outta me.  Guy has the same points every single time I try to turn him on.  He's listenable for about 15 minutes at a time, tops.  Rush, a bit more, but I don't have the luxury you do of sitting on my ass all day.

I'm retired, so I can listen all day long if I wish. But sometimes it gets to be too much.

Right now, I'm into my sixth week of detoxing from talk radio. I'll probably start listening again in the future, but at the moment I don't miss it at all.

Agreed concerning Hannity.  I listened for about 5 minutes this morning and it was pretty lame.  He doesn't lay out arguments very well, preferring to jump from talking point to talking point.  Rush is funny in my opinion, but I've probably listened to him for a combined 35 minutes in my life, more or less.  I think I'll just stick to the bluegrass channel.

I recently started listening to Rush and Levin during my commutes...( I work evenings) Both have loads of commercials, so I often switch to music.

I prefer Mark Levin...but Rush hits lots of good points....

I watch FOX when I get home from work, and Hannity is usually on.

I read and post on here during my slow time at work.

Oh dear, I guess I'm a bit of a political junkie... :shucks:

You should listen to Andrew Wilkow.
