Satan, I mean seriously?
While I am an atheist, I do understand intellectually the people who support the concept of God as an intelligence or unseen force in the Universe. I find no evidence of this, but I get the idea and why others believe.
Okay. Starts out reasonably enough. At least, more reasonably than most DUmp posts regarding Christian beliefs.
But Satan? Really, people believing in some evil, demonic bogeyman, causing the world's woe.
This is beyond ignorant and superstitious, it's just plain insanity.
So you can understand intellectually people believing in God, but not people believing in God creating an angel who turned against Him and who now is after mankind?
And that this isn't placed in the same category as Faeries, Unicorns and the Loch Ness Monster is baffling.
The Bible doesn't talk about those things.
Here's the only evil one behind the scenes I know of;
[pic of Cheney as Satan]
Oh, right. Believing in Satan is daft, but making an ordinary human being like Cheney into the harbinger of death and destruction isn't?
Lots of typical atheist comments follow as well as the predictable Cheney-bashing. Good Calvin and Hobbes comic strip included, though, so it's worth that at least.
