CC Halloween Party...what are you dressing up as?
« on: October 31, 2009, 04:33:08 PM »
We are all here at a cool party, and we all dressed up.
What are you coming as, I am coming as a saint (complete with light up halo).

What is your costume? (no way out of it: you are all in costume)

Same thing I dress up as every year, Pinky...

Actually, it wouldn't be much of a stretch for me to pull this one off...

Same thing I've worn for over a decade. (I'm just that lazy)

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

I'm going to be a tired college student with too many papers to right.

At least I won't have to do too much dressing up.

I am dressing up as the invisible woman and since I am invisible, I will forego clothing. (inspired by a friend who was going as the invisible man... but, I came up with the costume)

first time in years I'm "home" on 10/31. I bought $20 of candy (HOLY INFLATION!) and not a single friggen kid yet.

Guess that's what happens in the country.

Not two minutes later - 6 kids show up. driving door to door...

I wanted to go as Sarah Palin but we opted out of the festivities tonight and let the kiddo go out with his friends. Now, the red pumps will not go to waste. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
