maxrandb (1000+ posts) Tue Oct-27-09 03:52 PMOriginal message Pubs and the media using the term "Democrat Party" burns my shorts It is SO childish and obnoxious. But, it is also mean-spirited and divisive. It would be like having a friend named Charles, who asked you to call him "Chuck", but you keep calling him "Charlie" just to piss him off.If we could ever get Democrats to do something in lock-step, they should begin referring to the Republican Party with a term that irritates the Republicans...AND REFUSE TO STOP, UNTIL THEY STOP THIS SHITTY 'DEMOCRAT PARTY' CRAP.Here's some names I came up with:The Pukelican PartyThe LimbaughlicansThe BecklicansThe KooklicansThe PubicsThe RePuke PartyThe PubesThe Rubes

It would stop rather quickly, I think If, every time it happens, the Democrat on the panel interrupted and said, "Excuse me; 'democrat' is a noun. 'Democratic' is the adjective you searched for and failed to find. Please learn to use the English language properly." After a short time, merely interrupting with "Please learn to use the English language properly" would be sufficient.

rubberducky (1000+ posts) Tue Oct-27-09 04:01 PMResponse to Original message 10. Even if you just have the tv on as backround noise, when I hear Democrat party makes me want to throw something. The publics all seem to have adopted this strategy just to irritate us.Just goes to show how they are controlled by thier base. The adults have been thrown out of thier party.
I don't get why they are so upset over it. I'd let it roll of my back if I were them but that is probably why I'm not them.
