One of the earliest snows most people remember.  It's not going to stay long, but it's still here.

Must be all that global warming.

No snow for us today, but there are snowflake predicted for tomorrow.   Of course, I get to stand and freeze my arse off selling stupid gourmet apples tomorrow.

Driving to Morgantown today (this afternoon), and back.

Just looked at my schedule for the next week and I'm in panic mode a bit at how much I need to get done.

How long til Spring?

If next year's spring is anything like this year's was, we might be seeing some signs of spring in about seven months or so.

52 here now.  Gonna be 60 some odd and sunny.  YAY.  I have the day off, and after I finish my chores, I am going to run errands in the pretty weather.  Should be a good day for the Red River Shootout tomorrow.  I plan on staying far away from the fairgrounds tomorrow for sure.
R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

Several weeks ago I noticed some tunneling going on in my lawn. Confirmed today that it's at least one mole.

I learned more about moles over this past 24 hours than I ever wanted to know.

Ugly bastards, they are.

Anyway, I called a guy who is going to trap them. Forget the poison peanuts bullshit - they don't eat 'em. They eat earthworms mostly and if they can't find those, grubs'll do just fine.
