DUmmies Discuss Buying Medical Insurance - Again
« on: September 26, 2009, 10:43:12 AM »
In this season for medical insurance bouncy tales, DUmmy babylonsister clambers aboard the
bandwagon:

Original message
I talked to a health insurance broker tonight, because I'm in the market.
She was nice, gave me quotes, we both are from NY.

At one point I yelled, "GO OBAMA! Give me a plan that doesn't include pre-existing conditions
or recissions."

She told me it will never happen. Period. I naturally disagreed, but didn't pursue it.

This makes me wonder what kind of conversations she has with other people, considering she
met someone who knew she was full of it.

Doesn't everyone yell cheers for the jug-eared muslim in the midst of business discussions?

DUmmy RoyGBiv, who was recently fired for being a crummy salesman:

22. I quit my last job over sales ...
I wasn't hired as a salesperson, but our company did a business model shift and created a
"sales culture" where everyone, from the janitor to the CEO, had a quota ... well, probably not
the CEO, but I'm being literal about the janitor. Crazy stuff.

I was a "Hank Hill" type of salesman, and I made good, "sticky" sales. That is, my raw numbers
were lower than average, but my long term numbers were well above average. People looking
at quarterly profits don't care about long-term numbers.

My whole thing at the time was that I couldn't delude myself enough into believe our product
was that much superior to one of our main competitor's for me to push the lies sales tactics
they wanted. Some people can. I don't actually look down on them. They have a talent and are
the kind of people that can do a lot of things when they set their minds to it.

This DUmmy is the kind of salesman every company wants! Those guys who think they are selling
a superior product will never make it!

One must wonder what type of company it is where every employee down to janitor has a sales
quota. I'm puzzled.

The bouncy tale is expanded a little:

3. She 'assured' me she voted for Obama. But she flat-out said it ain't gonna happen.
I mentioned her livelihood, too. I told her I was sorry! Maybe that's why she got defensive.

An insurance broker who voted for a socialist? I suppose it's possible, but hard to believe.

10. It wouldn't be so bad with a left wing government. Such a government would nationalize her employer.
She would be switched over to the same government health care exchange that senators and
congressmen have access to, as well as all other federal employees.
And then she would starve.

23. Isn't that what this healthcare fight is about?
Hey, I just lost my healthcare insurance. I already know Obama has helped people, like my s_i_l.

I'm in a minority. I don't know a soul who has been helped by the muslim.

5.Im sure the insurance industry has many contingencies already planned to subvert any mandate
about pre existing conditions.

We should all pray that they do.

20. Absolutely they do! Sure, they'll cover every condition and
just jack up their rates by 200%. ...The government cannot mandate that everyone buy insurance
and that the insurance companies cover every condition. The cost of premiums will explode.
DUmmy WestSeattle2 just described the democrat plan.

DUmmy eleny takes a short break from the insurance whining for a foray into class envy:

6. When people talk about how insurance industry workers will lose their jobs...
I'm going to remember this Miss High and Mighty who spoke to you like that. Her trying to
demoralize turns my teeth to stainless steel and my heart to stone.

Regardless the insurance system, DUmmies will always hate anyone with a well-paying job.

15. The disparity in the rates between states is REALLY interesting. I know
folks that moved from Fla. to NJ to get better healthcare rates.

I think that may have been the subject of an earlier bouncy tale.

19. Gee I wonder if federal employees are exempt from insurance if they have pre-existing conditions?

DUmmy babylonsister, who started this thread talking about her search for medical insurance:
Quote
babylonsister  (1000+ posts)        Fri Sep-25-09 10:20 PM
21. No.  I'll do you one better. I'm currently married to a guy who retired from the military, and
we have Tricare.

It costs $460/year for both of us, and my dr. co-pay is $12. I haven't found one plan that
compares in any way.
And I was NEVER asked about pre-existing conditions.

So she is either divorcing the guy she is "currently" married to, or she just busted herself.

29. To cover pre-existing conditions  there has to be a mandate. Maybe she understands this
and believes as I do that Congress will never vote for a mandate.

Requiring new medical coverage to pay for pre-existing conditions is no different from requiring
life insurance companies to write new policies for hospice patients.

It moves from the realm of insurance into the realm of giveaway.  Which, of course, is what
DUmmies want.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Me three?   :cheersmate:

Eleny with her stainless steel teeth and heart of stone doesn't understand how Hartford, CT will become Detroit.  There are an awful lot of people with support jobs, secretaries, low-level accountants and the like who will become poor people, along with the tax revenues for the entire freaking blue state.  My God, they can't even see one baby step unintended consequence unless it stomps right on their neck.  Look out, Bridgeport, prepare to live under the bridge.

I really wish they would not be so fawning as to think that just because a bill has a D attached to it means that it's all sweetness and light.  Or that Barack Hussein Obama Mmm Mmmm Mmmm is looking out for them.

Okay, question.

The racist babbling sister primitive, who thinks "darky" and "pickaninny" toys are "cute," is married to a veteran and they apparently have some sort of medical insurance through that, this "Tricare" thing.

Now, if the racist babbling sister primitive has that, why would she be "in the market" for other medical insurance?

The racist babbling sister primitive a couple of weeks ago was seeking an attorney down there in Texas, probably a free one; at the time, I suspected the racist babbling sister primitive had been fired from a job.

I'm wondering how this all ties in together, or if it's all a pile of shit.

She referred to her husband as "the guy I'm currently married to". If she isn't looking for a
divorce lawyer, then her whole tale makes no more sense than a greenbriar lie. I imagine
spouses lose military insurance when they divorce the veteran.

Well, the racist babbling sister primitive should love her husband, the way he dotes on her, treating her like a queen.

First, he gets her all those "darky" and "pickaninny" toys for Christmas, over which she goes batshit happy.

Then he gets her one of those platforms, attached to the wall, to overhang the computer, and on which one puts television, so she can hang around Skins's island and watch the boob tube at the same time.

And probably cases of boxes of chocolate bon-bons.

And then as a precaution, her husband goes into the basement and puts a 4x8 post right underneath where the babbling sister primitive sits at her computer, so the floor won't sag.

This is a guy who sounds as if he really loves his wife; the racist babbling sister primitive should hang on to him.

Insurance companies not adjusting premiums for medical preconditions is a sure way to go out of business (and don't forget that's a goal of the anti-capitalist, anti-American left).  The primitives wanting that are the same types who believe just because your job is cleaning the bathrooms, you still should only make a little less than the CEO.

BTW primitives, after age 65 you get to go on Medicare and all things are covered, including preconditions.  Medicare is also broke.  I wonder if there's a correlation?
