They're theocratic, we're atheists (to a large degree)

They're intolerant, we're tolerant

They're exclusive, we're inclusive

They believe in every man for themselves (and if they want to drag a woman along for entertainment and to breed, fine)

We believe that sharing, caring, and compassion are key to life itself, and help is always there for anyone who needs it

They believe that charity is meant for tax breaks, we believe charity is for those who are the most needy no matter what ammount of time or money is involved

They believe that gay is a dirty word, we believe that gay is a beautiful word

They believe animals are good for food, we believe animals are beings not just possessions

They believe that white is the dominant color, we believe that everyone is part of a rainbow

They believe in the power of lies, we believe in the power of truth

They believe that facts hamper the message, we believe without facts, there is no message

They believe in the power of the few, we believe in the power of many

They believe that war is necessary to retain power, we believe that power leads to war

They believe that they can control everyone but they should be allowed to be uncontrolled, we believe that they need to be controlled to protect us from them

We believe that man is inherently good, they believe that only they are good

We believe in the power of man to do the right thing, They can only believe in what enriches them

That's why we're different. And I'm glad I'm not one of them.

They believe that charity is meant for their own gain, we believe charity is for those who are the most needy no matter what amount of our time or money is involved

They believe that gay is a dirty word, we believe that gay was a beautiful word before it was redefined

They believe animals are beings not just possessions with more right to life than most humans , we believe animals are good for food and all human life is precious

They believe that white is the dominant color, we believe that everyone is part of the human race

They believe in the power of lies, we believe in the power of truth

They believe in the power of the few (No Mob Rule!!), we believe in the power of the majority vote

They believe that war is never necessary because we can always "buy peace," we believe that war must sometimes be fought - and won - to retain our country and our freedom

They believe that they should control everyone but they should be allowed to be uncontrolled, we believe that freedom applies to all law-abiding citizens

We believe that man usually tries to be good, they believe that only they are good and everyone that disagrees deserves abuse

We believe in the power of man -with God's help -to do the right thing, They can only believe in what enriches them (Tax the Rich and Gimme MY PONY!!!)

That's why we're different.  :lmao:

They're always doing that, Sara. I call them the "Daily Affirmations With Stuart Smalley" threads, as in: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me." If a person or group constantly feels the need to tell themselves and everyone else how great they are, they probably ain't.

I mean really, could you see us starting threads over and over the sole purpose of which is to crow about how superior we are? It would be embarrassing. I like to think that as conservatives we let our actions and our character speak for themselves.

Oh, they're different than we are alright, but those arent the reasons.  That list does illustrate that the difference lies in their inferior ability to handle reality and tell truth from fiction (As well as just tellling the truth period).

The problem I have is that they try to impose their world onto the rest of the world....

Nevermind the fact that their world has never worked in the real world, nor will it....

I'd like to send them to live on their own little island somewhere, then burn all the bridges and mine the harbors....

You're gonna need a lot more than that.  Start with a few well-placed hammer blows to the head, THEN follow it up with the contents of an entire pharmacy and every neighborhood pusher's stash you can find.  At that point, you might get close.
