Arianne Prevost, 23, spotted the gator in the St. Johns River during a statewide public alligator hunt. She had chartered an airboat with Capt. Peter Deeks of Native Sons Outfitters and her boyfriend Robert Rohmann, also of Native Sons.

In other news, it's being reported that quarterback Tim Tebow of Florida will miss Saturday's game due to an a serious puncture wound of an undisclosed nature.... :lmao:

Cammie was the only person in her group authorized to shoot the 353-pound gator. The Lexington resident was with a guide, her father, an uncle and her brother in an 18-foot boat early Sunday in the headwaters of Lake Marion.
They have 40 pounds of alligator steak in the freezer now.
Cammie says most of her teachers are using her new nickname, "Killer."

Stories like this should be required reading for every guy.
We guys like to think the gals are helpless sweet things that need burly macho men for protection and heavy lifting.

That there is a fatal mistake. Womenfolk have been training with a variety of lethal weapons. Gals don't need us for protection, they are planning for our untimely demise! Now that cloning is almost perfected, gals have no more use for men, and apart from a few romantic movie star clones for entertainment purposes, our half of the species is obsolete.

True story: My sister in law is from Pittsburg. When she came to visit me in Floriduh last year she though the lizards around here were baby alligators!  :rotf: Mind you, she's very intelligent, but only in a book sense. She has a Phd in electrical engineering, but when it comes to common sense she's woefully lacking.
