Supposedly, Pink walked by him during a break and shook her head in disgust and SHE was escorted back to her seat. A few of the other female artists up for this category apparently had the same reaction.

I've looked on some of the sidebars to the story and apparently he was asked to leave at some point after. I give kudos to those in attendence because if that was the case, it was probably the pressure from other music stars that complained about the incident and him continuing to be there since the MTV staff did not immediately remove him themselves.

Somehow, I don't think that if Beyonce had won the award, someone like Brad Paisley would've pulled a stunt like that. I'd like to see something like that at the Grammy's with Trace Adkins on the stage. Kanye would rightfully be in surgery for hours getting the microphone removed from his rectum. Sadly, in our politically correct world, an attempt to stand up to his bullshit is considered 'racist'.
