DUmmies Discuss America - Agree It's Hopeless
« on: August 23, 2009, 01:16:11 PM »
This thread (like everything the DUmmies do) is of little importance. The only DUmmies who have shown up
are anonymous, faceless, useless members of the DUmp mob, unworthy of anyone's attention. The only reason
I brought it over is that it gives a little entertaining glimpse into the squirming, sweaty mass of mentally ill DUmmies:

I'm depressed today...something about the national tone reminds me of those horrible years when the
repubs controlled everything...when idiocy and torture were commonplace...when the media lied about everything and used propaganda tapes to promote the war...
I've been patient...when the bankruptcy bill was not supported i knew millions more would lose their homes..obamas loan modification has actually helped fewer than 9% of those in trouble...afghanistan rages on...nut cases continue to be given a forum on national news channels...its now ok to carry guns to political protests...torture and corruption and war profiteering go unchecked...blackwater is still in the loop with govt contracts...between the cia, blackwater and the military industrial complex, we are barely recognizable as the country i thought or hoped we were....wall street, geithner, goldman sachs....tom delay is a friggin criminal yet he's on tweetys show all the time...why?...where is dick cheney?..why is he not in jail?..how can anyone think that bachman and palin are not over the top lunatics?

i had hoped for accountability...i just dont see it..the people who are fighting so hard against this administration should be lawyering up for past deeds rather than continuing down the same path. and given a national forum..one big happy bullshit club while the middle class vanishes and illogical arguments are treated respectfully...im sick of it...

You know, if the Kenyan delivered the Stalinism the DUmmies think they want, complete with
show trials and executions, and a new Lubyanka Prison in the center of Washington, they would still
be just as depressed as they were the day after Fitzmas. They would be pining for Maoism and a
Cultural Revolution, so they could beat and kill anyone who owns more stuff. Then they would be
depressed because there would be no one left to feed them and give them shelter.

1. It's becoming very clear - Dems (including Obama) are complicit. nt

5. My partner who suffers from depression used to say that until he got help
It's a self defeating mood which doesn't get you anywhere. It causes malaise and inaction.

Now that he is getting help for his depression, he can function far better from day to day and has a more positive outlook on things. In fact, I haven't heard him say same shit different day for months.

And this is another reason why I support mental health coverage as part of whatever health care reform gets passed. Sometimes it can be more debilitating than a physical illness.

In addition to mental illness, most DUmmies also have "partners". I think that's usually shorthand for
a "cohabiting queers".

11. You are being realistic. They still do control everything...
because of their anger and hatred and lies and because the media gives them all the attention.

The right wing still controls the dialogue. You may be depressed about it, but you are essentially right.
Republican anger throws the DUmmies into uncontrollable fits of impotent rage.

So anyway, enough of all this DUmmy depression. Let's be cheered up by hearing an inspring,
optimistic explanation of American principles from DUmmy FarCenter:

12. You need to accept that conflict is the organizing principle of American society
The legal system is based on stylized trial by combat.

The political system is based on conflict between parties.

The economic system is based on greed.

Worker - management relations are based on strikes versus exploitation.

The country was founded on taking the land from Native Americans, usually by force or deceit.

The South was founded on slavery.

The Midwest and the Southwest were conquered during wars.

I could go on.

And whatever you do, NEVER question a DUmmy's patriotism!

You can't question that which does not exist.  :-)
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Yet not one single DUmbass has taken Jukin's generous offers of a crisp one hundred dollar bill upon renouncing their citizenship and moving to any socialist paradise or the free razor blades promotion.

I know this guy would go with blades but I offer choice.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

These people are totally divorced from all reality!  :mental:

Notice how unions 'strike' but never exploit.  :lmao:

I have to say, it warms my heart to see the writhing they go through.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
