Growing up and facing the world in a realistic manner rather than an idealistic one is what takes courage. I'll regurgitate what DU likes to throw at the 'fundies' and that is that if Ava could ever leave her home hive, school hive, and DU hive and venture out into the world of realism there might be some hope for her. Hopefully, as she gets older, she'll get better at critical thinking and analyzing things more carefully. What occurs to me in this whole debate is that for some it is all or nothing no matter the side they are on. Leftists don't want to agree 'in part' and those on the right don't want to disagree 'in part'..well, that's changed a bit, but that was the case at the beginning it seemed light and people like Ava still hold to a totally irresponsible viewpoint that there was ZERO reason for aggression.
