My 8 yr old is playing in a baseball tournament for 7,8, and 9 yr olds.   Last night was an elimination game.  It was the 3 inning, basses were loaded, no outs, and they put him in to pitch.  Talk about nerve wracking!   He got away with only one run scoring!   Next inning he got his three outs, no runs in, and they won the game.

I'm so proud of the way he handled the pressure!   I don't have any pictures though...it was too dark for the camera to work well, plus I was too busy cheering!

He's supposed to start football tonight, but he'll miss the first practice because we have another game tonight.  If we win this one, another one tomorrow.

Congrats little flame!!! That's so awesome! I'm a bag of nerves when my kiddo plays any sport.

WOW!!! Cheers to winning tonight too.

I don't know how you do it Flame....getting the kids to all their activities, not forgetting anybody somewhere, and maintaining your sanity!!  :bow:

It helps to have a husband who is wonderful!  And now that my daughter is driving, it helps even more!

I dunno! When my daughter first started driving I was a nervous wreck! Didn't help much when some punk, having stole daddy's car, was out joy riding, pulling cookies in the freshly fallen snow, and wiped out the first car I bought her! The punk's Dad was a stand-up guy though, and made it right.

I still dreaded her out driving on her own!

Holy Cow.  We beat the #1 seed tonight!  We move on to the semi-finals tomorrow!  Woohoo!   Mancub is not eligable to pitch tomorrow, though, becasue he pitched 4 over the limit last night.  If we win tomorrow, he can pitch in the finals though.
