Angry Mollusk (25 posts) Sat Feb-23-08 06:31 PMOriginal messageHave you noticed how the radical right wing keeps rewriting recent history? Advertisements [?]Right wing republicans keep rewriting history- examples being*They claim Bush inherited the deficit from Clinton(no one claims this. It is often truthfully pointed out how the lie about a surplus is ridiculous. Clinton tried to balance his budgets my destroying the military. That's part of the reason we have spent so much money since the fool left office.)*That Pres Clinton did nothing to go after Osama Bin Laden(Show me differently, you simple fools.)*That GW Bush wanted to defeat terrorism, from the moment he was elected(Well, I think it would be rather silly to say otherwide)*That 9/11 and Iraq were in fact connected(indirectly they were connected. That's part of written history.)*That anyone who opposes the war in Iraq 'hates freedom'.(Anti-war types have always hated freedom. They are always socialist and hippie scum)*That Saddam refused to allow the weapons inspectors inside Iraq(Another firm part of written history. Sorry DUmbasses)*That the US never supported Saddam Hussein(No one ever says this either. It is well known the USA used Saddam for it's purposes. "Support" doesn't really describe what went on....and most of what did is W-A-Y over a DUmmie's head)*That we found WMD in Iraq(Yep, sure did. Why do y'all keep lying about this? You have a agenda or something?)*That Saddam was involved with attacks on 9/11(No one ever claims this either, but there is indisputable proof Saddam was supporting the training of terrorists and offerring $25,000US to the family of suicide bombers. Any other stupid questions)All of these points have been discredited (SEE ABOVE, DUmbass), yet many right wingers cling to them as truth, particularly the lie that WMD were found. Point out that they're wrong, and the conservatives will question your patriotism. Do the Republicans who buy this disinformation know it's BS, or are they just hopelessly ignorant fools?
