She was, and may still be. From what I understand, they have already made 8 episodes, but stopped production due to the strike, and afterwards due to the network scheduling issues they would have if they were to start airing them now, not to mention the problems with trying to rush production through to film the remaining episodes of the season. We may still see her in 2009 when 24 airs again.

Well, it USED to be a good show. I don't find it believable (and I'm sure a lot of 24's followers feel the same way) that the Dead Air America leftist comedienne would contribute at CTU to help America. Unless they tape an episode with her helping the jihadists. Then that'd be more realistic.

I figured out long ago which presidents were what...

David Palmer: Democrat, was stated in a very quick, slick manner in one episode ( role: The Big Hero that was the "good" president...and he too could be considered an omen)

President Logan: Republican, which was never stated , but was very well alluded to as Martha Logan stated time and time again to her husband that he and Palmer were opposites in political philosophy ( role: The Devil himself).

That always ticked me off a bit...until, when you think about it, if there were a Dem in the WH, of course the terrorists would be on our soil making one attack after the next.

I have grown tired of that show, because every season it is the same thing.

Oh, and I laughed out loud at what Skizz said would be the appropriate role for Jeanine Gara-awful  :-)

Logan's President went down in AF1.  I'm not sure if they ever said his party.  I think Logan's President had his son on AF1 and was having a heart to heart when they got hit by a missile or something.
