I would tell.  Human life is human life.  Immediate defense of children, family, self or home is the only excuse to take a life outside of war.

You could tell them and they wouldn't believe it anyway.  Remember, these are the types who believe if we're just nice to those who hate America (almost as much as the primitives do) they wouldn't attack us ever again.  By Dear Leader simply being in office, that means that right now terrorists around the world realize that we've turned from our evil ways and they have called a moratorium on any attacks for at least the next 4 years.  In fact, any money we're spending on protecting ourselves is being wasted because they aren't even going to try anything.

I'm torn between telling them realizing they wouldn't believe it, and not telling them because it's a waste of time.  But I'll go with 'No' simply because the time and effort of telling them would be wasted, so why even bother.

According to frank's scenerio, they'll be dead.  I guess I could do "neener, neener, neener" to their graves.

Well, that's where it conflicts with my pro-life values.

However, the greatest gift God gives us as individuals is the instinct for survival.

I myself wouldn't do anything to harm a primitive, but on the other hand, I wouldn't do anything to save a primitive either.

Respectfully, I disagree.

See, this is a fundamental core principle of mine. I disagree that God's greatest gift to us is our instinct for survival. That idea of the instinct for self-preservation flies in the face of whom we consider our greatest heroes.

We think it's much more heroic--and for good reason--for someone to die in a fire saving someone else than someone saving himself. The strongest, most deserving, and best able are the ones who, in times of crisis, give their lives so that we lesser ones may live. It is evident in almost every book about war or crisis I have ever read. The bravest ones, the strongest, are the ones who go first. See Night by Elie Weisel and Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose for examples.

I think that God's greatest gift to us is the ability to save others. Natural law--the survival of the fittest--breaks down when it comes to humanity because we have souls.

Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Myself, I would dance on their graves and piss on their headstones. I have an extremely long memory and I will never forget their continual attacks on this nation, The Bill of Rights, and the unborn. I say hang t
he bastards!

Unfortunately you're right. We would have pity on the worthless little turds and save them. Which would allow them to screw us once again. It's a vicious circle I'm afraid.

Yes, that is one of Alinsky's rules... use the system against them.  One of the reasons why I voted yes (with reservations).  They would use whatever leeway or leniency they have to push their twisted little agenda.

Nobody said the terrorists wouldn't come back.  Fool me once, shame on me.  Fool me twice, it's your ass. :-)
