I was shopping on Saturday in a San Diego Macy's and noticed that outside the fitting rooms were small TV monitors and a seating area for -- I guess -- bored husbands waiting for their wives to finish shopping. Fox News was on. I changed the channel to a game show. Apparently, it was programmed so those were the only two choices. I went into a different department and there it was again. I changed it again.

I didn't bother a saleswoman about it; there were so few on the floor anyway, and they don't have any authority. This morning I called and spoke with a manager who both agreed with me that it was propaganda, and also said she would tell the store manager about my complaint and try to make sure that Fox News was taken off the channel selection.

Every little bit helps, I hope.

Yeah, right! Why is it they think FOX is propoganda. Anyone ever see them furnish proof of this? Seems to me they report the same crap as all the other news stations, they just don't do it with the same admiration of the Messiah like the others.

The upstairs part of our Macy's has electronics but all for the kitchen or deck.  I have never seen a tv in Macy's.

I have a granddaughter named Macy.  Every Thanksgiving I congratulate her on her wonderful parade.  Now I'll thank her for tuning in to FOX News.

I'm guessing, even if this is remotely true the manager just agreed with her so she'd go away. Bet next time it goes to Macy's for designer feline wear FOX is on the TV. Just how the hell does she afford to shop at Macy's in this lousy Obama economy anyway?
