Friday is almost always dead. :(  I got my JTR books... at least the author has a sense of humor.

"Trying to help people who are not qualified to repair their cars can drive a person crazy, which is why the author now requires therapy and medication.  The doctors have advised the author to not answer the phone."

Wow, you have my sympathy. :o

Of course, the accounting regs I'm reading aren't pleasant to follow either.... :-)

I've never even heard of that brand.  I know my liquor store inside and out and have never seen it there.  :(

Next time I'm there, I'll ask about it.

One of these days, i'll work up the guts to do an Irish Car Bomb...  A friend of mine wants to film the whole thing and put it on YouTube...  :lmao:

:rotf: The only thing I know is that mine keeps the good stuff behind the counter.  I'm more interested in the pizza parlor next door. :-)

Carolyn's is the "generic" alternative to Bailey's.  Tastes the same...really!

Wait...you're only going to do one Irish Car Bomb?  Save the YouTube for when you've had several. :-)

Given that my alcohol tolerance has gone way down... one Car Bomb will probably have me sleeping for 24 hours straight.  :rotf:

hush you.  I admit the only areas of the store I know well are the beer and liquor sections.  :lmao: :uhsure: Forget about the wine, unless i'm in the mood for some plain old Riesling from Woodbridge or something.

Yes, ma'am.  Is it okay if I use Carolan's?

Edit - I see that Rob is using it, must be OK...  :-)

When I worked for Jewel/Osco it was always a better deal. (and still is)

I knew a mechanic that worked at Auto Zone part time on the weekends (when he was not on Nat'l Guard Duty) and he will tell us about some of the questions...most people would ask a question, only wanting you to agree with them, rather then actually listening to what he had to say!

I get the same questions about people wanting stuff for their computers, but its not nearly as entertaining.

This book is extremely detailed... he did a very good job on it.  It was worth the $20 even if I never go through with the swap.  I want to get my Datsun to a mostly-restored condition before i even try this.  At least my parents have a three-car garage that they have let me use before.

Wait, your CVS sells booze?  I can't even get beer at Walgreens, and they're selling liquor?

It just ain't fair. :(

When I worked for Jewel/Osco it was always a better deal. (and still is)

It was always cheaper than Bailey's.  Jewel/Dominick's/Cub Foods, wherever.  If I brought home the real stuff, the former Mrs. Wiggum usually thought I messed up. :-)

Okay, Coast to Coast AM is another stupid episode with "psychics" and "auras" and "spirits".  Yawn. :whatever:

What is the new show?  I hope it isn't some Sonny-and-Cher-type variety show.

Meh, I live in Georgia... I can only go to liquor stores for the good stuff.  Grocery stores are beer and wine only. :(

I had it once, but can't remember.

Last time I bought Kahula it was on sale for $12.99. I still have an unopened bottle!

When I was at Georgia Southern University, in Statesboro (Bulloch County) it was a semi-dry area.... only beer and wine.  :bawl: At the time, I just used my visits to Savannah for eye doctor appointments as an opportunity to get my Bailey's... same liquor store then is the same one I use now.  :cheersmate:
