I had one of those chores today that demanded a trip to the Post Office. I find the nearest one (online) and scurry up MLK to Vine ST which is right off the University of Cincinnati campus. Lotta one way streets, traffic, traffic lights and yadda yadda yadda. Anyway, as I'm navigating my way around that part of town (there's a
Bogart's, a few crappy bars and the usual college town stuff) I am accosted by a young Turk with a sign that says $4 and then some small print gibberish I can't read. My innate sense of navigation forces me to do a u-turn and I get around, fight the traffic lights and realize these kids are on every corner of a two square block area. All selling $4 "something". I assume there is an event and it's $4 parking (a bargin) or $4 draft beers or CD's or movies or whatever-who-cares. None of which make this tiny event in my life a worthwhile story to tell. Then I get home and jump on Facebook...
Just to see who's about and what is up and guess what? This little add catches my eye in the sidebar...
