Working on reports and trying to make an offer work.

The sun is out....yippeeeeee! However, with the clearing skies, winter came back! Weather prognosticator is calling it "Blackberry Winter"....was in the low 40's last night, tonight it's supposed to be 40! :o All I know, is that the cats were crawling under the covers last night....even they were cold.

Having a pool party on Sunday afternoon. Was going to do it on Monday, but everyone has work on Tuesday, so figured Sunday with Monday to recover and eat leftovers by the pool.

Have changed the menu 3 or 4 times....I can't decide. :thatsright: Was looking at pulled pork recipes last night, also Mexican shredded pork which I think I'd rather do as someone is bringing fabulous homemade salsa. Anyone have a good recipe?  I want to make it on Friday. Know for sure that we're having Rum Painkillers and chocolate covered strawberries.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

39 this morning.  High of maybe 55.

All I know is that I'm doing 12's until Friday and then not going ANYWHERE this weekend.  Traffic is gonna SUCK.

A fleece wouldn't hurt.  They're still getting frost warnings there now and the mornings average about 45-50 degrees in early June.

Glad I thought to say something to you.....I would have forgotten to take anything warm.

My runnin' buddy and I are flying up to go to her niece's HS graduation in Skowhegan. Our men weren't interested in going so we're combining it with a night in Camden on the water, then a night at a B&B on a lake near Skowhegan, then we are going to Bar Harbour to a really neat looking place on the water. Based on the rates we got, they must still be winter rates! We were surprised how cheap the rates were. The B&B is only $35 each for the night....we each have our own room with a bath between. At least that's what the guy said when Margot booked it....may be cots with sleeping bags for all I know. But that's ok...it's only for one night. We're looking forward to it....the graduation will be great...but the lobster will be excellent!

I spent a summer on Sebago Lake when I was in college as a camp counselor at a camp for girls. I taught swimming and water skiing, and lifeguarded. Never been in such cold water my entire life!!!! Brrrrr.

Well, it will always suck. It's the day my BIL died from his injuries. (hit by DUI driver)
