Florida teen finds rocks in Nintendo DS box

Jodi Wykle knew her son would be thrilled when she gave him a new Nintendo DS for his birthday.

Instead, he was rocked.

According to WTSP-TV, the confused teen opened up his gift only to find bunch of stones and a rolled up Chinese newspaper in place of the popular handheld.

Hmmmm...E-Bay?  Or the back of a truck?

ETA: Oh, Wal-Mart.  Same thing.  And what of the previous customer who returned it?  Why isn't he being visited by "Da Po-Po?"

Well, this is Florida.  I thought the kid would just take out the rocks and play with them.   :fuelfire: :-)

How about A MacBRICK Pro?
"In what's possibly the meanest anti-Apple pun ever, Consumerist reader Ryan was sold an actual brick in a box instead of the MacBook Pro for which he paid over $2,000.

He purchased the "MacBook Pro" at a Best Buy in Texas, and the retailer is citing the problem as Apple's responsibility rather than its own. The box was apparently sealed with the brick (a paving stone, really, but I've already eked two jokes out of calling it a brick and I refuse to let that kind of thing pass me by) inside, which does seem like it would be a bizarre screwup on Apple's end. Ryan hasn't gotten the mess sorted out with his credit card company, Best Buy, or Apple, but this is so ridiculous somebody's bound to refund his money." Gizmodo

That's what he gets for buying a fruit computer instead of a real one.   :fuelfire:
