What a stupid woman. What did she expect to happen? She's lucky to be alive and in one piece.
If a person is dumb enough to enter an enclosure with predators, will she actually learn from her encounter?
I think not. You can't fix stupid.

In America. she would be doing at least a few months of jail time.

You can't fix stupid, but may possibly find a pill for insanity.  Which she clearly was.  I'd rather her find medical/psychological treatment than pay for her confinement.

Considering how maligned they were by the SF Zoo's PR firm and that the zoo it's self did not have an adequate enclosure.  I really can't fault the lawsuit.  Surely they were idiots though  :lmao:

She's especially stupid to jump into an enclosure with the most carnivorous of mammals. She not only put the keepers into jeopardy, but the polar bears. There are always those that would call for the bears to be put down.

She probably was on drugs or something. No one in their right mind would swim with the polar bears.

People sometimes think zoo animals are tame---they're not.

I saw this on tv this morning. To top it off...the woman jumped in during feeding time!

Someone mentioned that it's the same group of polar bears that Knute is in....that maybe because he was in the group, that they were all friendly to humans. Also, the same person said that the woman should have still known that bears EAT people....

She had to have quite a bit of surgery to repair the bites. She's very lucky....fortunately for her.... God seems to watch out for the stupid.....

I don't feel a bit badly for her. She's a nut, and I am a firm believer in natural selection. Also, that is one of the best lolz I have seen! ^5! Rush said today that it was Al Gore's fault, she probably felt sorry for the PB's and thought they needed a hug, poor persecuted things that they are, what with their kin running out of ice. I still suspect her to be a German DUmmie.  :loser:
