Damn, my computer is running slow as dirt tonight.  Anyway I cracked open the bottle of Baileys.  I take it back about it tasting like Yoohoo.

It tastes more like chocolate milk with vodka dumped in it.

 :bird:

Then just hand over that bottle, since you clearly are incapable of appreciating it.  :p

Dang, I'm starting to wish I had some decaf coffee and whipped cream (cool whip in a can, preferably*gasps*) so I can make an Irish Coffee.

I could make some evil desserts with this stuff.  It's pretty good.

You know what's good?  Vodka and Dr Pepper.

I wonder how the vodka would go with the new Cherry Dr. Pepper?    This calls for an experiment... I'll stop by the liquor store on my way home from work tomorrow. :p

Dr Pepper screams for vodka.  I think the good doctor was a lush.

OMG!  It would be awesome!  Or even just Cherry Coke!  I rarely have soda in the house cause if I buy cherry coke I'll drink like 3 of them quickly.  But...I may have to buy a six pack of cherry coke now.

Do they still do that Vanilla Dr Pepper?  I've never had it, but I wonder if that would be good with vodka or plain Dr Pepper with vanilla vodka.  OMG!  So many possibilities!

I had never put the two together until a couple of years ago.  A guy I was dating at the time, his roommate was a huge Dr Pepper & vodka fan and that's when I first tried it.  Delicious.

So, what vodka would you recommend?

I rarely see the Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper around here, so I stick to what's available. Plus, Publix had the 2 liter Pepsi products on sale, BOGO.  I essentially paid 80 cents for each 2 liter of Cherry Dr. Pepper, so I raided my store.  :uhsure:

PS: Quit drinking Cherry Coke... Cherry Dr. Pepper beats it by a long shot in taste. :yum: Also, a friend of mine told me to get some Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream and make a cherry vanilla float of it.

I feel like such a traitor, but Coke should have been watching their back on the cherry cola market.  :uhsure:

It's very drinkable.  I'm just glad I'm not a diabetic.  This stuff has to have a ton of sugar in it.

I'd just buy Skyy.

I figured I'd probably go with that one.  Certain members of my family prefer Grey Goose... no thanks... I don't jump on the hipster vodka bandwagon. :p

Well, Grey Goose is better, but you're mixing it with Dr Pepper so might as well save a couple of bucks and just go with Skyy.

I just never could develop a taste for GG. I tried it over Thanksgiving last year, but went back to the daquiri (from a drive-thru daquiri stand...) I had been enjoying. LOL   Plus, saving some bucks is nice.  Cheap booze... can't turn it down. :p

I must have strange taste buds... the same family members freaked out when, over Christmas, my grandmother of all people gave me a Bacardi Rum/eggnog concoction.  I normally am not a fan of eggnog, but the drink turned out pretty good.  :cheersmate:

Skyy isn't the cheapest out there, but if you go Taaka you're threatening a bad hangover.

I guess it's up to me to corrupt you with booze.  Dr. Pepper?  Seriously?

Let's recap - some WE, some booze, a little Shade....

we can do better tonight. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
