SR educated me and converted me to the glories of sci-fi.  :-)

BSG is Battlestar Gallactica, one of the best and most confusing series (if you didn't watch it from early on) I've ever seen.

Was Starbuck a ghost?  Did I read that right?

Also it was really cool seeing the Old School Centurians fighting the new ones. Nerdgasm. :-)

I really think they should have just ended it with Adama sitting on the top of the hill and not gone on to modern...well, I won't spoil it.

Yeah, I guess StarBuck turned out to be one of the "Angels" which kinda made sense. And having the old style Centurians make it back was an excellent idea as well as using the old music as the Fleet was sent into the sun.

I knew Starbuck had the keys to Earth again when she was talking about putting numbers to the kids song. This ending was better than the original show that had them finding earth in present time. The old show really started to blow big time when they went down that road.

Well...and BSG ain't really over yet! We have the Fall special coming up about the series from
the Cylons point of view and then Caprica. Plus did ya all see that new show Warehouse 13???
That looks good.  :-)

And the new StarGate appears to have potential! WOOT!

I'm not sure if she was always supposed to have been an angel or simply reborn as an angel but she was not merely a ghost. I liken it to Gandalf dying and coming back as what Sauriman SHOULD have been.

Lots of metaphysics. "God" seems to have been running amok in that show. While I'm cool with the idea of a "guiding hand" the dreams, the song, the endless coincidences seem to turn the guiding hand into a puppet master.

I thought that was a nice touch eluding to the evolution of cylons particularly in light of the cylon civil war: the older models being more reliable to the masters who exploit them with the same tyranny that led the cylons to reject their human masters but the old models are too unsophisticated to do anything about it.

Warehouse 13 looked awesome!

I'm not sure about Caprica. It has two of my favorite actors in lead rolls but I don't know if they are going to make that one float or not.

I enjoyed it, especially the big space battle to rescue Hera.

The ending in Time Square with the robots seemed too familiar, while I was working out this morning I wonder if they used that in that one special when they had different actors from different shows talk about why they loved BSG.  Either that or all of this has happened before and it will happen again.

My take on it is the whole thing is kind of like the Matrix, someone somewhere is running a simulation and Kira and the Six and Baltar angels are a way of fudging the results.

Also I didn't see how Lee's solution would end the cycle of death and rebirth Baltar talked about.  A lot of that seemed derived from A Course in Miracles and/or Buddhism or other non-dualistic philosophies which are often times worked into Sci-Fi plots because that is the only way they make sense but then they kind of step on them and confuse the issue.  If anything , Lee's solution only perpetrated the cycle.

BTW--anyone like how they left open the possibility that Bill Adama might have been a Cylon after all?

I still think that every one of them was a decendant of cylons.  I think the cylons mated and the resulting offspring filled the 12 colonies.  I also think Kara's dad was Daniel the musical cylon that was supposed to be boxed.  The part I didn't understand was what about Baltar.  Was he supposed to be a cylon because he could see himself as an angel?  Even my kids were addicted to this show.  It is a shame they cancelled it. :bawl:

I can't wait to see Warehouse 13. :cheersmate:
