I find this creepy. I would appreciate it if anyone could point out (a) any examples of a Republican president, say during the past 30 years, asking people to take a similar "pledge," and (b) if it was George W. Bush, any examples of conservatives defending it.

I'm guessing if it were GWH, the whackos would be screaming "FASCIST!!!!!"

With their savior doing it, it's all A-OK.

I just sent them a bunch of "**** yous" using that website.  The Secret Service will probably be contacting me, though I didn't do anything illegal according to the Constitution.  Of course, we all know that any and all dissent against President Messiah will not be tolerated.

something like six weeks ago we were discussing an internet roumer about this being required of the army.


Everthing is incremental.  He wants to get there, but he is in no hurry.


The thing is, right now it is voluntary.  Give him time, it won't be.

I remember Rush saying he got audited every year the Clintons were in office.   If you are a conservative, your tax forms had better be in order.   If you are a democrat, like Geitner and so many others, it isn't all that important, is it.
