Sorry, but I dissent from the group on this one. I am concerned that Bush was willing to throw our liberties under the bus for the sake of national security. Yes, I know he was not the only president that was willing to do that--Lincoln suspended habeus corpus, FDR forced Japanese-Americans into camps--but it stinks all the same. I realize that the Constitution is not a suicide pact, but I wish it were something more than a temporary inconvenience, especially for the people who swore an oath to uphold it. Our liberties are being eroded almost daily, and it does not seem to matter who is in office.
Yeah, Obama and Holder had evil motives in releasing this information, to be sure. But I am still glad it came out.
