Unexpected weekend off do to stripping of the floors at work, but I'll take it.  They were just going to be doing it today, but I asked for the whole weekend off. :)

Today's going to be a good day, I can feel it!

First, I totally thought I was going to pull 1 A and 2 Bs this term (and I was disappointed in myself for the Bs)  Well, I apparently totally rocked my finals and I'm getting 1 A and 2 A-.  AND the rumor is that one professor doesn't turn in A- only A.  :)  I'll check back before I leave work and see what the official grades are posted.

Secondly, I'm getting my hair cut today at 2pm, so I'm leaving work early!  woohoo!  Then I'm gonna stop by mom's and pick up a cooler so I can empty the fridge out.  I'm supposed to be getting a call sometime today to let me know what time frame they're going to be here tomorrow.

Also, a vehicle I was prepping a mechanic's lien against was picked up & paid for today!  w00t!

Yea Friday!

No, just trimmed up really.  I like the length.  Plus, I've been letting it grow out for so long and I even persevered during the summer when I usually go back up to shoulder length, there's no way I'm taking much off it now. Maybe a couple of inches at most.

We slept for about 10 hours here because everyone was frankly exhausted last night. The kids were just done in.

Gonna do some breakfast and then head into the harbor to see the big ships and hit the museums.

I'm enjoying a late breakfast here. Maria, the short order cook here on campus, makes the best breakfast burritos in the state. So good and so filling.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Yum-o!  There's a mexican place next to my apartment and they make awesome breakfast burritos, with chorizo and everything :)  So tasty!

You're welcome.  :-)

I have a lot of small items on my weekend agenda. Stupid stuff that I keep putting off like minor repairs, some deep cleaning tasks, etc.

On Sunday, my oldest nephew turns five so we are having a little family get-together. I can't believe he's five-years-old already. I feel like I just held him in the hospital yesterday. :(

Yeah, I'm always shocked that my first nephew is 7 now, almost 8!

I don't get this "family" stuff.

I have two nephews who are in their late teens that I have never even seen.

Im trying to get into a good mood. Our weekend is shot, we have to go to a crab feed Saturday and spend the night at my parents place. No time to work on the on-going bathroom remodel.

They're moonbats.
Seeing them once every 25 years or so is adequate.
Which variety of moonbat east coast or west coast?

Well, I have been in a pissy mood all week.  I think I need a long session this weekend.   :naughty:

Let's see - found out that some company that we USED to do business with has been using our fedex account number for their express shipments.  This has been a three week hell.  They were contact by Fedex to cease and instead of stopping they just made up a ficticious company and continued to use it.  They are now getting their regional attorney involved.  Ultimately we are not responsible for their shipments, but it is the time it has cost me that pisses me off more than anything.  Well, that and the fact that this company is completely unethical which is why their biggest client took his business and started using us.  If anyone has seen those informmercials that mask as "interviews" from a company called I T V....don't EVER buy anything from them.

What else?  Oh gee, my office manager went off on me because she didn't like the email I sent her on Tuesday.  Things have been a little stressful but FFS...she DIDN"T do her job last week before she left for a day off so why the HELL is she pissed at ME for having to get into her files.  I told her she needed to CC me on ALL emails which she accused me of micro-managing her.  Well, when my client calls me and says they didn't get tracking numbers that she should have sent on freaking MONDAY and it is FRIDAY you can sure as hell bet I am going to micro manage you for a while.  She works hard but she is HIGH MAINTENANCE.

We hired three people this week on a trial basis...yes we are actually HIRING people right now.  And I had one person come to me and give me a friggin dr note saying that she can't use her right hand with repetative motion.  HELLO!  You work in a friggin WAREHOUSE!  You are making boxes and filling kits...you are 1099 contract employee...if you can't work - you don't have a friggin job with us.   :mental:

I have a very good friend in Atlanta that just found out that she is out of a job.  Or if she decides she can cut her hours to part time..but she needs the flexibility of looking for a full time job.  I'm worried that her boss is complying now only to be an ass later.  I don't know.  She sent me her resume...I just wish she lived here, I'd hire her!  Damnit.

My oldest (the one with severe autism) didn't have school today.  So, I'm stuck at home can't run any of the errands I need to today.

Oh and to top it off my dear sweet husband decided to invite about 15 couples over tonight for a dinner get together for our church.  I. could. kill. him.   Except if I do kill him then I won't have anyone to help me take out this aggression....Hmmmm..

Okay, I gotta stop bitchin'  I need to go buy shoes, or a bag...or something.  LMAO :mental:

East coast moonbats - which is one of the reasons I live in Arizona.  Too far to "visit".
Are you the oldest? I've always found the oldest siblings are usually the most responsible, conservative ones in a given family.

I'm cleaning blinds then my OCD kicked in and I'm cleaning everything in sight, including baseboards.  It is taking me forever.  My youngest is home today from school because of the dentist thing yesterday.  She probably would have been just fine in school today but I felt sorry for everything she went through yesterday so I let her stay home.

My husband comes back tonight from being in California for a few days.  He was in New York last week.  THe week before he was in California.  It seems like he has been gone for weeks.
