Your feminazi feelings notwithstanding, I am truly sorry you are ill.  I hope you get well soon.

Use it as a chance to take Nyquil -- I love that stuff when I am sick.

cut it out.  now.  don't let the argument in the FC spill over into the lounge, of all places.

My wife went down to NOLA on business and came back with like, 75 strands of those beads.

People must be really friendly down there to just give them away like that.

Three hours!  Three @#$%^&* HOURS to remove an alternator.  I am brimming over with FUN! :banghead:

I had to remove the power steering pump to get to the alternator.  And now I have to put it back.  But I still have to find out what wires go where on the new alternator.

I'm finally home, dammit.  Three hours to find an alternator and six hours to install it.  Fugh.

On a very positive note, I managed to put everything back together and nothing has exploded yet.  And I met just about every person I work with that was leaving between 4-6pm.

Finally, home from work.  I WAS taking a co-worker home, when he decided he wanted to go to Checkers for a late night meal.  I've never had a good Checkers experience, so I was unsure.  I was WRONG.  My burger is so very tasty...and the fries....    Plus he paid for my meal... woot, free food!  :hyper: :lmao:

I've never had a good Checkers experience (or at least a memorable one).  The only Checkers I've seen is all the way on the other side of the city.  But free food is always cool.

I was never fond of the Checkers back in Atlanta, but the one down here seems to be of better quality... the burger tasted better than most other places around here that I go to frequently for burgers.  Plus, it wasn't oversized. It was perfect for the "late night munchies" as my pot-loving co-worker likes to say.  :lmao:

Hardee's/Carl Jr's isn't bad in a pinch.  Plus they have these new mini-Thickburgers that are only a couple dollars.  We have Backyard Burger which is similar and they have the same waffle fries that Chik Fil A sells.

I have a new white 370Z that will be delivered here the latter of next month. I did not have to put down a deposit so if they won't give me a good deal I will just keep my 350Z.

That's cool!  You'll have to start a thread and post some pictures.  Preferrably interior pictures.  I rode in a Kia Rio yesterday... the interior was awful.  Doubleplus awful, even.  My Kia Spectra's MSRP was only $4,000 more, but the interior was pretty nice for a cheap-o budget car.

I saw a thread on Jalopnik about how Nissan has de-valued the 370Z with the $80,000+ GT-R.  I don't get it.

The manual 370Z will go from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds for around $30k. That is plenty fast enough for me. For 80 grand, you could buy a convertible and a coupe for the price of the GT-R. Maintenance costs on the GT-R are very expensive. Brake job is 5 grand.

Sounds yummy ACC. Plus, sometimes it's fun to do something outside of work with a co-worker. Makes work go smoother.

I am told there is going to be a new Carl's Jr. just down the road from where I work.

This town needs something other then Casino Resturants and Fast/Quick Food. There are a couple of places but they are small and often packed. A Dodge delaership owner is buidling a new Italian Restuant with a jazz club, but that sounds pricey. The old bastards here wont spend any money.  :rotf:

That might be the only way a Dodge dealership will make any money.  I passed a Dodge-Chysler-Jeep dealer today with a lot full of cars.  I kinda felt bad for him because they all looked the same.  With the exception of the Mercedes-Benz/Daimler-Chrylser chassis on the 300, I didn't see anything worthwhile.

We only have two dealerships here, and I think the Dodge dealership does better. One of the owners also plays in a jazz band and is always doing stuff out in the community. Everyone knows him and everyone likes him.

I love the look of alot of the Chryslers, plus Jeeps are popular due to the desert, sand dunes, mountains & Death Valley being so close.

I also like the looks of alot of the GM vehicles.

I have chatted a little bit with a guy from the Chrysler dealership about employement, but things need to pick up first. I like my paid by the hour paycheck right now. But I do miss the boatloads of money I made in the car biz...the money is just not there right now.
