I have to take the ten-toe express over to the parts store for a new alternator.  At least my car is at work and not in the ghetto somewhere.  On a positive note, I found out what that squeaking was.  I could tell it wasn't a belt... I knew I was going to be replacing something with a bearing.  I'm just glad it wasn't something expensive.

My favorite part of my NOLA experience was a bar on St. Peter's Street called Tropical Isle. They had this drink called the "Hand Grenade." 16 oz., 90 proof, amazing.

I'm working today.  I'm really hoping there will be King Cakes available in the bakery.  I haven't had one in so long, and I forgot to order one from Julie Anne's in Shreveport (well known for their King Cakes ;)  ). 

Sunny, but definitely still jacket weather here. :(

I had my last two finals this morning.  I feel good about them.  So, I'm outta school until March 10.

I had a nasty one for about a week right before X-Mas, but that's it.  Nah, the worst thing with me here is how dry it is.  I'm actually fighting nosebleeds because it's so dry and I don't have a humidifier in my hotel room.

Now I just have to figure out where to eat dinner tonight.  Strange to say it, but I'm sick and tired of eating out.  I can't wait to come into MY home, turn on MY stove, and cook MY own meal this weekend.  After I go grocery shopping, of course--nothing in the fridge right now.
